They probably saw how well the LS9 performed and decided that supercharging was the way to go. The LS9 made lots of power on the low & high end, got MPG in the low 20s, and was bullet proof.

It still didn't rev as high as the LS7 and it will heat soak after a few laps. The ZR1 was never as focused a track car as the Z06.

But it's a Z06. It should be N/A. It's the Vette's GT3 equivalent. I want a high reving 7.0L LTX.............

Or maybe its a supercharged 7.0L engine! Remember that GM said that the LS9 was originally going to be a SUPERCHARGED LS7, but apparently the engines werent reliable enough or something like that...
